Bernie VS Trump….Who made these quotes?

Let’s talk about the two most polarizing figures in the current political race.  You’d think that there would be worlds of differences between the positions of Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders.  But is that really true?  Are their views really that much different?

Don’t let me tell you, just read what they have to say for yourself.

When asked if healthcare and education should be provided by the federal government:
…yeah, those are two of the things. Yeah, sure. there are obviously many things, housing, providing great neighborhoods…..  –Donald Trump

If anything, I think The Donald one-upped Bernie.  Bernie gave a vague “decent standard of living” requirement for the government to fulfill but Donald took it one step further.  The federal government, think about that and let it settle in…the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT is responsible for making sure your neighborhood is “great”.

Somebody tell me the last thing that the federal government was involved in that wasn’t a disaster.  And then tell me with a straight face that you want the federal government making your neighborhood into their idea of “great”.
